The Hydrodrill is an innovation in the range of HDD mini drilling rigs, also known as nanodrills. The Hydrodrill was developed by the company Tachyon, known for the Hydrolans arc-sinking machines, in cooperation with Vermeer Benelux.
Through the combined experience of more than 30 years, we have succeeded in creating a product that is leading in every respect. The key focus points are reliability, power, speed, and ease of use.
Thanks to the patented roller system, the drill rods are pushed or pulled in one smooth motion, resulting in faster drilling with less friction loss.
We offer the Hydrodrill as a set with the best supporting equipment the industry has to offer, such as a Vermeer MX150 bentonite mixer, DigiTrak Falcon locating system, and the Hydropump 72 L/min high-pressure pump. In addition, we offer a selection of accessories specifically designed for the Hydrodrill and other nanodrills, such as high-quality reamers and wear-resistant hardened drill heads.
With the Hydrodrill, smaller boreholes can be made quickly and cost-effectively. The investment costs for a mini drilling rig with accessories are low compared to a conventional horizontal directional drilling machine.
Due to its compact dimensions and relatively flexible drill rods, the mini drill can be used flexibly, even where space is limited.
The mini drill is suitable for all installation work. As with the larger machines, it remains possible to locate and steer the underground drill head during drilling.
Compared to a conventional HDD setup, the investment remains limited.

The Hydrodrill is supplied with a DigiTrak Falcon locating system for flawless tracking of the bore. The drilling rig and the associated high-pressure pump can be controlled with a single integrated radio remote control.

A maintenance-free gearbox for rotation and other high-quality components ensure a long service life and maximum reliability.
3D quick-change system
The CW05 and Lehnhoff SW-03 compatible adapter can be quickly and easily adjusted in all directions using a wrench. This allows the Hydrodrill to be positioned effortlessly in the desired orientation.
Powerful high-pressure pump
The Hydropump is a powerful (72 L/min and 100 bar) high-pressure bentonite pump. The unit shares a radio remote control with the Hydrodrill and is built as a solid power pack with electric start.
